The information presented her about Har'akir will NOT be complete to the true domain. This information represents what the players have learned so far and will contain gaps and misdirections depending on the game so far. Keep in mind that the maps presented here MAY also be incomplete but as the party progresses they will be updated.

They have learned that they arrived in this domain on the eastern edge of the Valley of Apophis. No small feat since the valley is supposed to be uncrossable. It separates the western 1/3 of Har'Akir from the eastern 2/3. Little is known about the region to the west of the Valley of Apophis due to the difficult nature of travel through or over the valley. There is believed to be a city named Muhar and several ancient ruins. The Sea of Sand meets the valley at the cliff base and stretches as far as the eye can see.

The party killed the first group of people that they encountered without getting any information about cities or other areas of interest. The only city they have encountered is the City of the Darkened Sun. It is a floating city in the Sea of Sand about 10 hours east of the Dragon's cave at full sail. The City of the Darkened Sun is also refered to as the Nergal by some of the residence. The Nergal is the name of a giant obylysk at the center of the city. This city is protedted from the Har'Akiran sun by an enoumous Globe of Darkness that surrounds the city.

The party has also heard of another floating city on the Sea of Sand. The city is the main rival for the Nergal and is located about 3 days to the south east. The city of Zaratan is said to be similar in size to the COTDS but much less civilized. The island is complised of savages and brutes that would just as soon trade with you as steal you cargo. There is no city or people more hated by the COTDS than the Zaratans. Combine that with the fact that both cities are constantly competing for a place of honor in Lord Ankhtopots rule and the rivalry only grows stronger with every passing day. The only thing keeping them from open war is the possibility of displeasing Lord Ankhtopot.
